Prior to becoming a ‘Hilltop Dog’, your dog will complete a trial session.

During this, a member of our team will gradually introduce your dog to the day care environment, as well as other dogs of a similar size and play style.

For some dogs, day care is a new – and potentially daunting -experience. The trial session helps our team assess whether your dog will enjoy day care, as well as giving your dog a chance to experience other aspects like being picked up by our Doggy Bus.

Some dogs can take a little longer to join in at day care, whereas others can’t wait to be part of the pack!

The trial day goes at your dog’s pace and gives them the best chance of fitting into a group that they will enjoy.
